Ok, so now that I have been tagged twice I guess I should participate.

The rules are...

(1.) List 7 things you love

(2.) Choose 7 of your favorite bloggers to give the award to.

Of course the first will be super easy, but the 2nd...not so much! I don't know 7 people that blog. But I will give it a shot anyway! So here goes...7 things I love, in no particular order:
(to keep it interesting I will leave out the obvious, Jesus, Michael, Raylee, family, and friends)

1. sitting in a chair on the beach (umbrella of course)

2. the white cheese dip at Mexican restaurants

3. singing with the radio... wow how I miss that since the dvd player in the car became unable to live without...but the sad part is I still sing with Cinderella, Peter Pan, etc.

4. laughing until the tears come

5. cute shoes

6. raised seams on a softball

7. dancing around the den with Raylee and knowing no one else is watching

Big Money Bunny

After church on Sunday we all went to Bryan and Tracy's for lunch. The big surprise was that Kinsley had gotten a baby bunny last week and they could not wait to show it to Raylee. She was very cautious and would only touch it for a brief second. But she did not want to miss out either. One minute she was smiling and laughing then the next saying "no" and pushing the bunny away. She was a little afraid of it at times, but seemed upset after he "disappeared" when it was time to eat. I asked Tracy and Kinsley if it was a boy or girl and they were not sure, but both laughed when I asked what they had named him..."Big Money Bunny" Cracked me up.

Check out videos...

In our Sunday Best!

Hand made, smocked dress compliments of Nana...Thanks mom, it was almost as beautiful as she was!
She just had to get down and go give Daddy Bruce a hug as soon as she saw him.

I just love this family of mine! What more could I ask for?

Christ is Risen!

Well Raylee had enough candy on Easter Sunday to last her for a good while. And I am sad to say there is still some left. Even though I do not allow her to have very much..."She does not need it"...I guess I think I do cuz I keep eating it! Anyway, she really did not know what to think that morning and I don't think she even got the whole Easter bunny "thing". But, hey, who cares, right? Easter is not about the Easter Bunny at all anyway. It is about our Savior Jesus Christ who defeted death, hell and the grave by raising from the dead just as he said he would! Praise God! She may not be old enough to understand the real meaning of Easter, but one day she will! This first picture is for all of you who make fun of the fact that Raylee always has a bow in her hair. As you can see, it is not about the bow at all, but it is all about being able to see this sweet little face...
Once she figured out that the eggs openned up and there was candy inside, it was on!

(bow was placed after about 2 seconds of watching her peek out from under her hair)

I guess she wanted her bunny to taste the giant lollypop first! Hope you all had a great Easter Sunday!

Miss Carpenter

Nanna and Daddy Bruce are adding on to their house and guess who just has to help. She thinks she is so big hammering nails in and helping Daddy Bruce tear out walls. You should see how many "extra" nails have been added just for her sake. We are going to have to put her to work at our house. There is plenty to be done here. (video to come)

Favs from Beach

When will I learn that less is more?

Our beach friend we met, Noelle

Snack Time!

Deep thoughts...

Love this one!

Nap time... Don't worry, she did not sleep on the beach!

Watching for the birds
Some beach reading
She did not like the taste of the sand, cant say I blame her.

3 Weeks Later!

I wish I could say we are just getting home from the beach, but just as it sounds, that is too good to be true. The truth is that I am just getting around to posting, and even now I am doing it in shifts. Besides the busy schedule we have been keeping lately (work, softball, Easter drama practice, and just life in general) the main factor that slowed me down was the over 350 pictures I have had to sort through. So I just had to pick out some favorites and just start posting.

This first collage is just of Raylee and Kinsley. Raylee just loves Kinsley and her Aunt Tay Tay so much. They are so much fun to be around and even Raylee knows it. Raylee wanted Kinsley to be involved in everything she was doing. Even when Raylee would play in the water she would periodically stop what she was doing and just go and hug Kinsley's neck or give her a kiss. I think the most fun was the boggie board Tracy went and bought just to pull Raylee through the water on. It was a two person job though. It took one to pull and one to hold on to Raylee to keep her from falling off backward. Thanks Tracy and Kinsley for the entertainment help you gave to me as well! We love you guys!
Just being able to watch Raylee enjoy the beach was awesome. The only thing that would have made it better was if her Daddy could have been there to see it too. This was actually her second beach trip, but she wasn't even walking yet the first time, so this one was the first time she was able to enjoy it for herself. She was scared for about the first, oh, 2 minutes, which surprised me, and then she became WAAAY to brave. She would have just run right off into the ocean if I had let her. I had to stay close at all times. Thank God, (literally) for the little strip of water that had pooled up along the edge of the dry sand. It ran the lenth of the beach and the water would wash up and refill it from time to time throughout the day. I would not have made it without it. That is where she spent most of her time. She started off the first day telling the ocean "NO, NO" when it would wash up on her feet. Then she shifted to telling me "NO, NO" when I would pull her away from the crashing waves. But by the last day she had it down pat. She would run toward the ocean and through the little section of water, then slow down and say "NO, NO" to the ocean before turning to run through the pool again.

Here we all are at LuLu's. And of course, the stranger taking the picture could care less if the child is looking or not. Still a great picture though. Had so much fun ya'll, can't wait to go back.
