We all went to eat for "Sister" Beth's Birthday this week. She hates when I call her that. We had a great time! And of course everyone knew Raylee's name by the end of the meal. Michael says she is going to be just like Meghan. I say that wouldn't be so bad.
Well Raylee's first Easter has officially come and gone. It was a very busy weekend. We had the Easter drama Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which was exhasting in itself. But it went great and lives were changed, Praise the Lord! Sunday morning was a rush to get the basket thing done and get ready for church. Raylee enjoyed her basket, but her favorite part was the grass. Sunday after the drama was also very busy. We went for lunch to Moma E and Daddy Jack's, then went to Mema and Papa's. By the time we made it to MiMi and Pop's for supper we were all exhasted and ready to get out of our Easter clothes. Raylee was great! She was in her beautiful Easter dress, hand crafted by her Nana (my mom), all day and it did not bother her a bit. She was cute as a button as usual and was dressed to the max including a pearl bracelet and earrings. Needless to say we all slept very well that night.
Last week was Spring Break of course so Raylee got to stay with her Aunt Alexis one day. Alexis and Raylee surprised MiMi for lunch that day and took some time to enjoy the pretty weather and the "Big City". MiMi was so surprised and excited to get to spend some unexpected time with her. Raylee, Alexis and MiMi had a blast as you can tell!
We got out in the yard today to take some pictures. Sadie was so excited to see us. It was hard to get a picture without her in it. Raylee, Beth, and I were all covered in slobber by the time we got done, but it was still fun.
Hanging out with Daddy in my cute ball cap. Daddy with his Easter Drama beard that we can't wait to get rid of (the day after Easter if I have anything to do with it). He is still the best looking Daddy in the world.
Raylee in her new "New Balance" tennis shoes. I know she is will be ready to go running in them soon. Well, maybe not, she'll probably grow out of these in a couple of months. But oh well they are still supper cute!
Well Raylee is now 6 (almost 7) months old. And she is looking more and more like her Daddy every day. Wow, time has flown by and I am amazed that she is actually mine every time I look at her. She has changed our lives forever.
Raylee had so much fun getting her hands on this cake. She is always reaching for things on the table, so I know she was surprised when we did not stop her. I can not believe my baby girl is half way to her 1st real birthday.
My name is Brooke and I am 30 years old. I am a RN, but only work part time now. I have a wonderful cutie of a husband named Michael who is my best friend and the love of my life. We were married August 21, 2004. Our beautiful daughter Raylee was born about 3 years later on August 7, 2007. Wow have our lives changed. But all for the better. Our lives will once again be changed this July as we are expecting our second bundle of joy. We can't wait to see what God chooses to bless us with. Being a Mommy is more than I could have immagined. I love it and can not wait to be a Mommy of two!
