Fun with Bubbles

Raylee had her first experience with bubbles Sunday night at MiMi and Pops. She had a blast! She made the funniest faces. She could not understand where those bubbles were going when she tried to grab them. It took a while, but Daddy finally was able to blow some really big ones for her. I am sure this won't be her last bubble experience.

Relaxing Day at the Ball Park

On Sunday afternoon we got together with some friends for some batting practice and just a little fun. Raylee was so great, she played in her pack-n- play almost the whole time. She was so tired though, as usual for a Sunday. She finally just kicked back and propped her leg up on the side of the play pen, it was to cute for words.

Family Reunion

Saturday was Michael's family's annual reunion at Wind Creek. It was great to get to spend the day with family. Raylee and her cousin Gracelyn also got to spend some time together. We thought that one pack-n-play would be enough for the two of them, but they both immediately began to grab and swat at each other. We decided to try it again while they both were eating and content and it worked. Love this picture, the writing on the pillow was accidentally lined up between them perfectly. They are both two "beary" special girls!

Sleeping Beauty

This past Friday was a big day for us. We were trying to get ready for Daddy's surprise 30 th birthday party. Raylee was exhasted and she got a much needed nap before the big party. This was just a great picture moment I couldn't pass up!

Mother's Day

Well, my first Mother's Day has come and gone and I will cherish it always. After church we ate lunch at my Mom and Dad's and then made a visit to Michael's Aunt Donna's house. My most favorite part was the Mother's Day gift that Michael and Raylee gave to me (with a little help from Aunt Donna). Without my knowledge Michael, Donna, and my Mother had arranged a "photo shoot" on Wednesday while I was working. My present was a collage of 9 pictures of Raylee and her precious little features. It is about 21X21 inches big and it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The snapshot does not even do it justice. I also posted below some of the other pictures Donna took that day. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Michael, and Raylee for my present. Thank you Mom for giving up part of your day with Rayle, and a special thank you to Donna for your time and talent.

Raylee with the Puppies

It won't be long and they will be bigger than she is.

First REAL Swim

Well, after our first attempt at getting Raylee in the pool at one month old didn't go so well I was super excited to see how she would react now at 9 months. Needless to say, and as you can see, the pool was a hit! And it's a good thing too, I don't know where else we would spend our summer. Looking at these pictures sure brings back memories. I can not believe she used to be this small.

This is Raylee's cover-up thanks to Nana. How cute is this?
Not quite sure about this.
Ready to jump in.
You guessed it, even the float goes in the mouth. Wanna bet how long the whale goes without a hole in it?

Well after we all got over the shock of the icy water Raylee's first REAL swim went great.

Sweetness!

Just wanted to give a little taste of the sweetness I enjoy every day!

Raylee's Dedication

This past Sunday was Raylee's dedication ceremony at church. She was a show off as usual. She climbed up my chest the entire time we were standing in font of the church. We had a lot of family come to support us as we committed to raise Raylee in a Godly home. We thank God for giving us such a beautiful girl and for such an awesome opportunity. Our friends Gavin and Lori also dedicated their precious baby girl Haleigh. I know God has such big plans for them both.

After the dedication we went to eat lunch at Bryan, Tracy and Kinsley's. After lunch Raylee got to play outside with their 2 dogs Cash and Shocky and she even got to jump on the trampoline. She smiled the entire time. Thanks Bryan, Tracy and Kinsley for a fun afternoon.
